The authors discuss acculturation levels, psychological strengths, life satisfaction, coping styles, religiosity, caregiving issues, traditional assumptions about extended familism, health status, economic supports as well as methodological issues regarding scales measuring self esteem, life satisfaction and mastery, health and economic status, and future directions.
